Terms of Service — Dokkaebi

1. Scope

These terms apply to the Dokkaebi Android app.

2. What Dokkaebi is

Dokkaebi offers tarot readings, Saju (Korean Four Pillars) readings, personality quizzes and light games inside a village where your Minimi lives.

Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are not medical, legal, financial, or investment advice. AI-generated readings may contain mistakes and are not predictions of the future.

3. Silver

• Silver is in-app currency. There are three kinds: free Silver (earned in the app), subscription Silver (from a Destiny Pass), and paid Silver (bought).
• Silver can only be used inside Dokkaebi. It cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
• Free and paid Silver do not expire. Subscription Silver expires at your next billing date, or immediately if your subscription ends.
• Silver is used in this order: free, then subscription, then paid.
• If Google refunds a purchase, we remove the matching paid Silver. If your balance goes below zero, some AI features are paused until it is back above zero.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

• All purchases are made through Google Play billing and follow Google Play's terms.
• The Destiny Pass (standard and Premium) renews automatically every month until you cancel in Google Play. Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen.
• The 3-day free trial is available once per Google account.

5. Refunds

Refunds for purchases are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. You can request one from your Google Play order history, or email us at contact@brighttale.co.kr and we will help. Silver you have already used cannot be refunded. Free Silver and subscription Silver are not refundable.

6. Minors

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to make purchases.

7. Things you must not do

• Use someone else's account or payment method without permission
• Obtain Silver through bugs, exploits, or other unfair means
• Reverse-engineer the app or use bots or automation tools

If you do, we may limit the Silver involved. You can contact us to dispute this.

8. Privacy

9. Ending the service

You can stop using Dokkaebi at any time. When you delete your account, free and subscription Silver are removed.

10. Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by events beyond our control (such as natural disasters or network outages), or for decisions you make based on readings. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Disputes

Please contact us first — we will try to resolve any issue in good faith. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any consumer protection rights you have where you live.
